Assignments

Hello there,
Just a quick update again. I have just read on what i have to be doing for the assignment and i'm quite looking forward to it. I am most intrigued by this multimedia development assignment that we had to do. I think making a game will be stressful at times but also fun at the same time. I suppose making a game is like making a website, when you do all that hard work and in the end it looks good and it works.
From doing the reading I suppose the only extra credit piece that grabs me is the tech tasks.I like the idea of learning something new that might help you in class or foe the project. The things you might be learning might decide your final grade.

Hello to anyone reading this. My name is Michael Nugent and I am 21 years old from the north of Kildare. Getting into this my best class that I took last semester was either web development or photography. I liked them both because in studio photography we got to use the colleges studio which is pretty decent and we go to do different things with images. Game Vision Statement

Hey there, Just here to talk about my game vision statement. The game genre i was going for is like a platform game. My gameplay was going to be where the player spawns on a platform, the player must then jump to the next platform and land on it, if they don't they instantly die from touching the lava. I was thinking of adding that the player will collect a coin or something to buy different types of maps or maybe some different types of outfits. For my games resources i was thinking of having 5-10 different levels all the levels will have a different themes to them, like one level could be a classroom and another could be a house where you start in the kitchen and you need to make it to the roof. Game Brainstorm

Hey there, Just here to give 4 possible game ideas that I could be making over the next few weeks for my own game. The process of thinking of any game is not an easy task for anyone. There are things like what kind of genre do I pick?, how many characters are going to be in the game or even where is it going to be set. My favourite genre would have to be either shooters or sports games like Call of Duty. But at the moment my favourite game would be Mario Kart. So for my first game idea is where there will be either 5-10 levels, each level harder than the next. But the levels will have objectives like having to collect a certain thing like a coin or something but the special item wont be easy to get because there will barriers in the way that can kill you causing re-start the level.
